NEW PATIENTS

Your First Visit With Us

new-patent-topNew patients of all ages are welcome at our Mesquite dental office. When you first arrive, we will review your new patient paperwork with you, as well as collect your insurance information.

Next, one of our dentists will come by to briefly meet with you and order any necessary diagnostic x-rays. One of our Registered Dental Hygienists will screen your oral tissues for periodontal disease, and perform a preventive cleaning if appropriate. We will also record a series of high-resolution intraoral photographs, allowing you to see the same things that we do during your exam.

Finally, Dr. Dumitru or Dr. Harris will come back by to review all of the clinical information and then perform an extensive, comprehensive exam. Should you require any type of dental treatment, the dentist will review his findings with you, as well as discuss what types of options are available.

Your treatment plan and any financial arrangements will be discussed in our private consultation area.

FAQ

Do you take my insurance?

Our Mesquite dental office accepts most dental insurance plans. Financing is also available for our patients that may not carry dental insurance. Be sure to ask about our cash payment discount.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?

If you have been told in the past that dental implants were not an option, we invite you to schedule a complimentary implant consultation with our dentists. We implement advanced services such as sinus lifts and computer guided CBCT cone beam placement, making implants an option for more patients than ever.

What type of sedation dentistry do you offer?

After a thorough medical screening, we can determine whether nitrous oxide or oral sedation is appropriate for our patients. Both options help anxious patients relax during their routine or extended dental appointment. Our dentists are both certified to provide safe sedation within our office.

Why do I need to have LANAP?

LANAP uses advanced soft tissue laser technology to combat periodontal disease. If left untreated, gum disease not only leads to tooth loss, but also impacts overall health – including conditions like heart attack, stroke, and diabetes.

Do I need braces?

new_patents2We offer orthodontic treatments for adults, teens, and children. From early interceptive ortho to Invisalign, we can help your smile be straighter and healthier. Schedule a consult with us to find out which type of braces are right for you.
